Our research group focuses on the search and rational design of new molecules that inhibit or modulate the function of various membrane or cytosolic proteins. At the same time, we have the tools and knowledge of Chemical Synthesis to obtain and modify Leading Molecules with the aim of improving their affinity and biological activity against a particular target. Using chemical synthesis, we develop new controlled drug release systems, using nanotechnology and systems that involve this technology.
Our research group collaborates constantly with other groups involving new chemical strategies oriented to give solutions in pharmacology, microbiology, agronomy and medicine.
